FSAD Bombers captured third straight and SWAAD Taz wins first SEAAD Title

SEAAD held regionals in San Sebastian, PR on March 15-16, 2019 with 8 Men and 2 Women Teams

SEAAD has 16 registered men teams and 8 teams showed up in San Sebastian, it resulted in a pool play on Friday hometowns Puerto Rico Boriks Blue and Ponce Lion tied with a 3-0 record resulted in a 1-2 seeded, FSAD Bombers landed in 3rd seeded with a 2-1 pool play. On Saturday bracket play was in effect, PR Boriks Blue took the home field advantage and roamed into champion game defeating Georgia Bulldogs in first round, defeated Seminole Warriors in Semifinals meanwhile Bombers with a veteran roster handled well by defeating South Carolina Copperheads in first round and defeated Vipers in Semifinals. The champion game resulted having hometown Puerto Rico Boriks Blue facing with defending champion FSAD Bombers and couldn’t handle Bomber’s size and experience, Bombers captured third straight SEAAD Title.

Men’s Champion Game Result:
#3 FSAD Bombers defeated #1 PR Boriks Blue, 67-53

SWAAD Taz and Newcomer Lady Marlins were the team attendant, As round robin rolled in, Lady Marlins stole the game 1 with 37-34 over 2018 runner up SWAAD Taz, Taz rebounded in 2nd game of round robin with strong finish of 39-17 over Marlins. On Saturday champion game Taz came out strong and defeated Marlins for their first SEAAD Title.

SWAAD Taz defeated Lady Marlins, 53-44
