Eastern Athletic Association of the Deaf (EAAD) held the 78th Annual Men’s and 33rd Annual Women’s Regional Basketball Tournament on March 28-29, 2026, at Frederick, Maryland
EAAD hosted 8 men teams and 1 women team, Maryland Crossover is EAAD Women’s Champion, Men’s tournament kicked off with 1st round action, #4 DMV Diplomats smothered #5 Nighthawks 144-30, #3 Matrix fell to #6 Flaming Hoopers 92-57, #2 DC Elite Hoyas steamrolled over #7 Universal 131-73, Defeating Champion #1 District City 95ers overcome #8 Gotham City 100-63. The semi-final game saw action with #6 Flaming Hoopers falling to #2 DC Elite Hoyas in a heated match with a 71-69 score, #4 DMV upset the #1 95ers 85-68 to earn a champion berth. The 3rd Place game saw the 95ers bounce back to defeat the Flaming Hoopers 76-57 to capture 3rd Place finish. Champion game concluded with #4 DMV Diplomats winning over #2 DC Elite Hoyas 95-80 to capture EAAD Men’s Champion.
