Farwest Athletic Association of the Deaf (FAAD) held the 80th Annual Men’s regional basketball tournament on March 21-22, 2026, at Riverside, California.
FAAD hosted 10-man and 2-woman teams over the weekend. The women’s tournament concluded with Phoenix Valley forfeiting the game, resulting in Tucson Viuda Negra winning FAAD Women’s Champion. The Men’s tournament kicked off with the first round, with #8 Orange County Boyz moving on with #9 AZ-KY Hoop Forefit, and #7 Riverside Raccoons defeating #10 So Cal 85-61. Second round started with top teams in action, #4 Monsoon lost to #5 Sonoran Hoopers 75-28, #3 LACD defeated #6 Rim Reapers 76-26, #2 SSH fell to #7 Riverside Raccoons 74-67, Defeating champion #1 DSA defeated #8 Orange County Boyz 87-70, Semi-final game started with #1 DSA rolled over #5 Sonoran Hoopers 91-68, #3 LACD steamrolled over #7 Riverside Raccoons 89-68 to earn their Champion Berth. The 3rd Place game concluded with #2 SSH climbing back to defeat #10 So Cal to capture 3rd Place finish. The Champion game kicked off with top teams #1 DSA and #3 LACD battling out, DSA handled the 2nd half run to catpure FAAD Champion by beating LACD 77-68 score to win back-to-back FAAD Title.
