Central Athletic Association of the Deaf (CAAD) held the 81st Annual Men’s and 19th Annual Women’s Regional Basketball Tournament on March 20-21, 2026 at Indianapolis, IN.
CAAD hosted 13 men’s teams and 1 women’s team. WSAD Warriors is the lone CAAD Women’s Champion for 2026. The Men’s Tournament kicked off with 1st round game action with #8 Detroit Panthers defeated #9 Wisconsin Bucky 57-42, #7 WSAD Chicago Rebels rolled over #10 CBUS City Monster B 90-65, #5 Madison defeated #12 Jacksonville LLA 60-23, #6 Pittsburgh Miners lost to #11 CBUS City Monsters A 76-28, #4 Elite rolled over #13 Wisconsin Wolfpack. 2nd round action saw top teams #4 Elite narrowly defeated #5 Madison 61-60, #3 Wisconsin Wolves edged over #11 CBUS City Monsters A 68-61, #2 CCD Chicago beat #7 WSAD Chicago Rebels 58-47, Defeating Champion #1 Naptown Hoosiers smothered Detroit Panthers 88-32. Semi-final game set with #2 CCD Chicago escaped victory over #3 Wisconsin Wolves 58-47, the other semi-final game saw action with #1 Naptown Hoosiers defeated #4 Elite 74-50 to earn a return to the CAAD champion berth. The 3rd Place game saw Wisconsin Wolves steamroll over Elite 97-75 to earn their 2nd straight 3rd Place finish. The 5th Place game saw action, CBUS City Monsters A defeating Madison 53-31 to earn a 5th Place finish. The Champion game concluded with #1 Naptown Hoosiers defeating #2 CCD Chicago 93-40 to capture back-to-back CAAD Champions.
